Contrary to popular believe, some people think there is a trick to tuning up a computer or a program you can buy or download off the internet....annnnnng wrong!!!!!  I don't know of any program that can remove a crayon from a floppy drive or a trick to fixing a burn out power supply. 

A good technician will be just like a doctor.  Instead of fixing the symptom they will repair the causes of:

17. Bad floppy drives, optical drives, and card readers
18. failing nic and 56k modems
19. bad printers
20. bad hinges and loose plastics
21. and the list goes on and on and on....

Why do you think big companies pay IT personal Millions of dollars a year?  Because a Human Being is necessary to keep things running.

Getting a tune up will keep your computer running optimally until you are ready to buy a new one and will save and in some cases make you money in the short and long run.

Take your computer back to where you bought it from and get it tuned up.  If you need an excuse just say it is running slower.
